Past few days, I have a meeting with PTG officers from Johor regarding Strata title application. Consent letter from bank is one of the main issue why some strata titles take long period to apply. Usually, property owner will take loan from banker on buying property and title will be caveat under banker.
In fact in the strata title application checklist, consent letter is compulsary to be submmitted. However, there are some improvement have been done by PTG to speed out the strata title application. They do not want this small issue and cause the land owner or developer do not apply strata title.
According to PTG officer, for those parcel which have caveat. The caveat would not be deleted when the strata title being issued. The caveat will autimatic carried forward to the strata title. By this improvement, no parties can be point finger of late issueing strata title.
