Another one BM P 083 = 5.559 meter is near to Taman Teluk Mas.

Last week, our survey team carried out the levelling around Teluk Kumbar, penang.

We found BM P 449 = 4.026 meter in front of school as shown at above photo.

Casio programmable calculator FX-603P is a powerful calculator among the surveyor but unfortunately this product is hardly to find at the moment.

Recently, I try to enter program into this calsulator and face a problem to enter "FIX". Luckily, my trainee found it. Press

"shift"
"RDN"
"RAN"
then it will turn to "FIX"

First Alienation Survey

The first alienation is on state land (white color)

This is part of the land where the owner start their activities

The boundary far from the land. It fall in river but the owner right until the approval boundary .

This is one of first Alienation survey near river mouth carried by my team on last Saturday.

Normally, seldom people know how to apply state land and most of them has wrong concept regarding state land. Initially, all the land are belonged to state Government and we need to apply before get the title. For example, this land is mainly for industry purpose and land office will put the condition on the title.

After the owner get the title after pay the premium. The owner has the right to extend the land until the title boundary where the boundary fall on the river. if you found a state land and intend to apply, please kindly inform me for assisting.

EDM test

Chun ( trainee) asked me why we need to do EDM calibaration on today. I told him that in Malaysia cadastra work, every 6 months the instrument involved in cadastra work is compulsory to do the EDM calibaration. If we do not carry out the test, we are unable to submit the cadastra work for that particular period. EDM Calibaration is vital to ensure that the EDM for the instrument is in good condition where the distance should not exceed 10mm compared with the original distance at the calibaration pillar.
