Time frame of approval in title survey
This is another story regarding a retired couples from KL and has a piece of land in Melaka. This senior couple must be high educated and know where to find the certified plan in JUPEM even though they named as land resource department.
They came to approach me regarding sub-division his land into bungalow lot where their neighbor lot has been done. I told him that we need a planner to do the sub-division because licensed land surveyor can not submit the application. He said he knew the procedure. This was why they came to me because he wanted licensed land surveyor design the layout and with this layout, he will pass to his lawyer to enable him to sell the lot before sub-division application. This is a smart couple.
Subsequently, they asked me how long the application can be approved. According to my record in melaka is within 2 years and this is the faster at the moment. They disagree with the time frame because somebody told them that the application can be approved within 6 months to 1 year. I do not know how they do it or according to this couple...need "politic link". We never give guarantee or promise to our client because we are no the authority to give the "green light" for the approval. Our duty is follow the rule as requested and wait for approval before proceed the final survey.
