Dear CK,

Our GNSS observation is compulsory to compare with JUPEM pillar reference which available in SPAK.

The district surveyor was emphasized that our cadastral involved of x and Y coordinate or Lat/long in GDM2000. In term of value of Z is not the main issue because our present NDCDB system has not applied the height in our cadstral coordinate system.

In my GNSS calibration, my ellipsoid height more than 6cm and caused to seek district surveyor advise.

I will tell you more info when I submit my CRM data.

Dear CK,

Happy new year to you and thank you for visit my blog. The more proper term is setting back bearing instead of using read.

We need to set back bearing for circle right & left to enable the surveyor the difference or the accuracy of the reading to front station. In e-cadastral system, difference bearing must within 20". Otherwise the eF2F system will reject the observation and need to re-observe the circle right & left.

Usually LJT will provide the data to LLS. But all the observation in digital, just click and get the result. Unless you want to create your own sun observation computation.

You should be using the old cassini soldner coordinate, am I right? Then you can't get the actual position unless in small state like Melaka.

This is why JUPEM implemented e-cadastral system where the origin is based on central of earth which similar with WGS84 System.

Regarding how to create the projection parameter, sorry I have not tested yet.

Perhaps you should get more information regarding Malaysia datum from this blogger http://geomaticyber.blogspot.com/2011/01/gdm2000.html

Datum: Kertau 1948 (Malaysia)

Result in Google Map: SHIFTED

Case 2 Location A,
Projection: Cassini Malaysia
Zone: Perak State
Datum: Kertau 1948

Result in Google Map: IN POSITION

Case 3 Location B,
Projection: Cassini Malaysia
Zone: Perak State
Datum: Kertau 1948 (Malaysia)

Result in Google Map: SHIFTED

Conclusion from using the Star*net.

1. If the mislosure is in first class, it should be no problem in chi-square text.

2. The result from JUPEM and Star*net totally difference which caused me wasted a few days to solve the upper bound problem.
